Effect of Gossypol Content in Cotton By-product on Altay Sheep Productive Performance and Blood Indices

2012
To study suitable amount of cotton by-product,and cotton by-product in the Altay sheep diets, and the effect of the Altay sheep production performance and blood parameters, the present experiment was designed to feed cotton by-product to 40 male Altay sheep, weight of about 25 kg,respectively divided into four groups,in diets supplemented with different levels of gossypol cotton by-product,weighing and calculation of daily gain, the amount of manure produced, some mineral elements in the blood were measured. The results showed that,in the first 21-40 d,the test group three body weight and daily gain were highest were significantly different to the control group(P0.05),the test group three and test groups one were significant difference in daily gain(P0.05),but in the first 41-60 d,the test group three daily gain decreased or even negative growth of individual sheep, the test group three in the first 1-60 d of the lowest daily gain.Section 1-20 d and 21-40 d,the test group three and test groups two feed volume were significantly different to the other two groups(P0.01),but in the 41-60 d,the test group three and test group two were significantly different to test group one(P0.05),and was significantly different with the control group(P0.01).With time,in addition to the downward trend in the experimental group three, the other group feed intake did not change significantly, steadily. In the first 1-20 d,the control group,DM digestibility and other groups were significantly different(P0.01),the test group two and test group one were significantly different to test group of three. In the first 21-40 d,the control group and test group of three significantly different, with significant differences in the test group two.Add gossypol, increased serum levels of magnesium;a downward trend in serum calcium, serum phosphorus levels rise.
