Analysis on the Human Resources Status in Antituberculosis Institutes of Guangdong Province

Objective To explore the status of human resources in antituberculosis institutes of Guangdong province and evaluate the equity of human resource allocation.Methods Questionnaires were used to collect data of health resources in all antituberculosis institutes of Guangdong province.Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient were used to evaluate the equity of human resource in these institutes.Results There were total 2 334 medical staff members in antituberculosis institutes and their average age was(39.01±9.72)years.And the ratio of primary to middle and to senior professional titie was 7.60∶2.67∶1.The Gini coefficients of human resource in region and in cases are 0.09 and 0.194,respectively.Conclusion The proportions of medical staffs are unreasonable but the allocation of!health resources was correspondingly equitable in regions and cases.
