Kinetics of vapour phase disproportionation of toluene over H-mordenite

The kinetics of vapour phase catalytic disproportionation of toluene has been studied in a fixed bed reactor over H-mordenite catalyst. The order of the reaction has been found to be two with activation energy of the reaction of 10.4 K cal mole −1 . Dual site surface reaction mechanism has been proposed to account for the observed results
