Study on Machining Process Performance of Turbine Blade Based by MQL

Abstract MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication) is a potential solution for green cutting, but there is several process problem for application. Based on the precise control of the main parameters such as oil quantity, air pressure and target distance of micro lubrication, this paper applied the orthogonal experiment for process optimization. Finally, a comparative test of micro lubrication with dry-machining, air and pouring cooling was carried out. The test results show that the MQL can effectively reduce tool wear, cutting force and surface roughness, verifying the feasibility of micro lubrication processing technology for high-temperature parts of turbine blade materials.
