To improve the quality of FLOL in Xiamen University library (China), this research employed TED talk's strategies (principles and skills), which include readers' demand as the main factor, and readers caring and library innovation as the theme to build an emotional bond between library and readers. The lecture was customized to fit the readers' needs. At the same time, the readers' needs were listed based on the KANO model. Lecture time was optimized with humorous teaching methods and several cases.
