Cost effective motion based stair climbing rover for rescue purpose

Rovers started to play an important role in today's world for various services and different emergency situations. In this paper we present a 6 wheeled rover system that has been designed having the advantage of climbing stairs which is upward motion with a perpendicular angle. This prototype can also move on the rough surface. During rescue mission it can reduce the human effort in dangerous situations. For controlling the movement of the rover, video streaming facilities are included in this research. The object picking is another factor of this model, keeping in mind the purpose of using in rescue mission. Thus, to reduce human effort in different emergency situations, a prototype has been developed in an academic environment and has been evaluated to show it's its effectiveness.
