Traitement des rhumatismes inflammatoires et risques infectieux : difficultés d’interprétation des sérologies

Summary This case report deals with the infectious side effects induced by anti-TNF-α treatments in a woman with psoriasic rheumatism. It points out the infectious risks induced by this kind of treatment and the enhancement of clinical signs observed during the course of primary toxoplasma infection. This case also underlines the difficulties of interpretation of serological results and particularly the problems of interpretation of specific-IgM results, this class of antibody being not exclusively detected during recent primary infection.
