EXPEDICIONARIOS CHILENOS POR LAS PAMPAS ARGENTINAS. PARAJES, RASTRILLADAS, ETNIAS Y POLÍTICAS DE INTEGRACIÓN

Resumen El Rey de Espana Carlos IV, por medio de la Real Cedula de 1793, propiciaba la busqueda de un camino mas directo entre Concepcion y Buenos Aires, con el objeto de viabilizar el comercio entre ambos reinos e integrar a los naturales. De las distintas misiones de reconocimiento, sobresalieron las llevadas a cabo por Justo Molina y Luis de la Cruz, quienes fueron los unicos que lograron atravesar de lleno los territorios pehuenches y ranqueles. Si bien estas expediciones no tuvieron un efecto inmediato en la apertura de esos caminos, fundamentalmente por la invasion inglesa de 1806, significo una muestra de relacion interetnica pacifica y de colaboracion, a la vez que permitio reconocer las rastrilladas y parajes de la Cordillera y las Pampas. La ausencia de posteriores emprendimientos de esta naturaleza, las tuvieron como una referencia obligada para expediciones militares, para delinear mapas y para la ulterior «conquista» del desierto. Palabras claves: Molina – de la Cruz – rastrilladas – expedicion - Pampas Abstract The Spain´s King Charles IV, by means of the Royal Certificate of 1793, proposed the search most direct way between Concepcion and Buenos Aires, in order to facilitate the trade between two kingdoms and integrate the «natives». From the different reconnaissance missions, projected those carried out by Justo Molina and Luis de la Cruz, those were the unique that achieved through all «pehuenches» and «ranqueles» territories. While these expeditions hadn´t got an immediate effect on the opening of those ways, specially by the English invasion of 1806, it means a marked relationship interthnic peace and cooperation, at the same time allowed to recognize the aboriginal trails and places of the Cordillera and the Pampas. The absence of later developments from this nature, had them like a forced report for military expeditions, to draw maps and for the later «conquest» of the desert.
