캄보디아 농촌지역 고등학교 교사의 교육원조 선호도 우선순위: 최고-최저 조정법을 사용하여

While establishing strategies integrating rural development and education sector by donor countries, the first concern should be to understand the kinds of educational aid teachers prefer to. This study aims to determine priorities of educational aid preferences of high school teachers in Cambodian rural areas using Best-Worst Scaling (BWS). This study selected 9 items of educational aids: 「Expanding Technical Vocational Education for Students: Item 1」, 「Expanding Opportunities for Teachers to Acquire Higher Degrees: Item 2」,「Construction of School Facility and Support of Learning Equipment: Item 3」,「Transparent School Management: Item 4」,「Financial Support for Poor Students: Item 5」,「Educating Teachers to be Professionalism: Item 6」,「Teachers' Overseas Training in Developed Countries: Item 7」, 「Financial Support for Improving Teachers' Salary: Item 8」,「Development of Advanced Learning Curriculum: Item 9」. BWS survey was carried out targeting 96 teachers. The study revealed that the top three priorities were Item 8, Item 6 and Item 2, and the lowest priorities consisted of the Item 7, Item 9, Item 5 and Item 6. This study result is expected to be a useful to provide primary information for setting up integrated rural development strategies and promote donor countries’ comprehension of a more accurate needs and priorities of respondents in Cambodia.
