Práticas econômicas solidárias em grupos de agricultores familiares agroecológicos no município de Monte Carmelo-MG

The present article presents economic solidarity practices developed in the Social ControlOrganization of the Agroecology Center of Cerrado Mineiro (OSNACEM) of the Federal Universityof Uberlândia, Monte Carmelo. This OCS seeks to contribute to the maintenance of productiveand sustainable systems, valuing production and marketing scales, based on solidarityeconomy and fair price projects, increasing income generation and diversified production, withrespect to the regional vocation of farmers and consumption history. In this context, the UFU’sAgroecological Fair was implemented, the monitoring of farmers’ production costs and orientationfor access to public policies to encourage the agroecological production of family agriculture,promoting the social and economic development of family farmers involved in the actions.
