Fuzzy judgment on slope stability and slope angle optimization under the seepage action

A fuzzy judgment on slope stability of Dading Iron Mine was conducted after the indicator of penetration being introduced and combined with other factors.On the basis of the evaluation results satisfied the engineering stability requirement,we increased the slope angle appropriately and proposed slope angle optimized designs.A fluid-solid coupling numerical simulation model was established through FLAC program aiming at the slope section which has the largest vertical height and the most complex rock mass conditions.It was used to analyze the displacement characteristics of horizontal displacement and the overall stability of different slope designs under the function of water seepage.The best design of slope angle was determined based on the dichotomy.The above work has important reference significance in reducing the amount of stripping rock and improving the overall economic benefits of mine.
