RENAL FUNCTION FOLLOWING PARATHYROID SURGERY IN PRIMARY HYPERPARATHYROIDISM

Abstract An interim analysis of renal function and blood-pressure in 52 patients who were operated on successfully for primary hyperparathyroidism indicated that blood-pressure rose and renal function continued to deteriorate even though the serum-calcium level had returned to normal.
