Augmented Interaction Mechanism for Physically Consistent Collaboration Between Humans and Intelligent Agents in Network Management

The growing complexity of networking in the ICT environment, the demands for non-professional administrators s increasing. Network management support systems consisting of intelligent agents are a possible solution for the situation. However, interaction support between humans and agents has not been fully improved. In this paper, we propose an augmented reality-based interface for the dialogue interaction with the agents. The proposed interaction mechanism improve the consistency of physical space and the agents, and therefore, the users can easily recognize the relationship with the agents. The result of evaluation implies that the proposed mechanism can support non-professional administrator and improve the quality of collaboration.
