Studies for the Control of Citrus Pests in the Punjab

1982
The results of this field experiment for the control of major citrus pests viz., citrus psylla (Diaphorina citri), citrus leaf-miner (Phyllocnistis citrella), citrus mite (Eutetranychus orientalis) and citrus white-fly (Dialeurodes citri) reveal that monocroto-phos and dimethoate gave the best results during both the years under observations. This was closely followed by malathion + DDT and endosulfan. Next in order of efficacy were foimothion, methyl demeton and malathion.
