Study on banana, Bristle coir and jute mixed natural composites heat transfer properties analysis for insulation

2020
Abstract In this experimental investigation based on natural composites such as banana, Bristle coir and jute mixed with different percentage based on weight for the insulation on cylindrical exhaust smog passage to identify the heat transfer properties analysis such as thermal conductivity, thermal resistance and temperature differences. In this investigation 50% of Bristle coir used for three combinations of natural composite only change in percentage of weight varied for banana fiber (25%, 20% and 15%)and jute fiber (25%, 30% and 35%). There are three different thicknesses of natural composites such as 2 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm considered for investigation.
