The invention relates to a building material type photovoltaic component with the characteristic of light modulation and a photovoltaic system. The photovoltaic component is characterized in that a photovoltaic module, a hollow-out rubber separation bar, and a light modulation module are laminated successively. The hollow-out rubber separation bar is arranged along the four edges between the photovoltaic module and the light modulation module; and the photovoltaic module and the light modulation module are connected into an integrated one by a silicone sealant coated on the upper surface and the lower surface of the hollow-out rubber separation bar. The hollow-out rubber separation bar enables the photovoltaic module and the light modulation module to be separated to form a closed hollow cavity. In addition, the photovoltaic system is composed of a building material type photovoltaic component, a DC-DC voltage reduction module, a grid-connected inverter, and a cable. Because the building material type photovoltaic component is integrated with solar photovoltaic power generation and electro variable-color light modulation, the clean energy can be produced by the photovoltaic way and dependence on the traditional energy is reduced and the electro variable-color glass can be driven by the photovoltaic power to adjust transmitting solar radiation, so that the more energy-saving effect of the building can be realized.
