Type A Aortic dissection in 11-month-old infant with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome

Abstract Type A aortic dissection is a very uncommon finding in children, especially among infants where no cases seem to have been described. We report the case of a 11-month-old boy with Loeys-Dietz syndrome and asymptomatic type A aortic dissection involving the aortic root that was successfully repaired.
