The invention relates to an ultraviolet detector for preparing a color spectrum employing a deep-ultraviolet LED light source. The ultraviolet detector comprises a housing, a base, a glass tube, a shading film, a power supply, a collecting lens, a photocell, a photocell adjusting bracket, a control circuit board, an LED lamp and a signal output end, wherein the glass tube is fixedly arranged in the middle of the base through a bracket; the LED lamp and the photocell are respectively arranged at two sides of the glass tube and are aligned at the central axis of the glass tube; the collecting lens is arranged on the rear part of the LED lamp; and the head of the LED lamp is aligned at the collecting lens. A broadband deep ultraviolet LED and the like are adopted as light sources; splitting treatment is not needed; and the glass tube as one path of a flow path is directly taken as a detection cell, so that the structure is simplified. All rays from the LED are focused by the collecting lens and penetrate through the detection cell, so as to obtain the maximal luminous flux; and the detection sensitivity is improved.
