Magnetization of donor in reversed Type I core shell nanostructures

2020
The magnetization (M) of donor in magnetic Cd0.7Mn0.3Te/Cd0.99Mn0.01Te and non-magnetic Al0.3Ga0.7As/GaAs core/shell nanostructures (CSNs) is explored by variational technique in an effective mass approximation. The change in M of both the CSNs for different core radius (Rc) and magnetic field (B) is conferred through the interaction distance (red) of the carriers. The study of these CSNs in B is focused on the shell sited donor with reversed band alignment. The binding energy (BE) of such shell impurity in the CSNs are determined with regard to the applied B. The dimensional impact of core (Rc) on the behavior of donor is also conversed along with B effect. This comparative study between the magnetic and non-magnetic CSNs will give an insight of donor dynamics in building more efficient optoelectronic devices.
