Recent Topics on Organic Spin Liquid Candidates

2021
This chapter discusses the use of organic conductors as a platform for investigating a variety of phenomena such as (super)conductivity, metal–insulator transitions, magnetism, and especially spin liquids. Molecular and crystal structures of organic conductors look rather complicated, but their electronic structures can be described simply by considering the frontier orbitals of the constituting molecules. Apart from the simple electronic structure, unconventional physical properties occur because of many-body interactions. After a brief introduction of the history of organic conductors, the chapter provides a discussion of recent topics on organic spin liquid candidates having triangular lattice.
