Random crystal fields effects on the phase diagrams of the mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 Ising ferromagnetic nanographene layer

Abstract In this work, the effect of different random crystal fields on the phase diagrams of the mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 ferromagnetic nanographene layer is examined by means of Monte carlo simulation based on Heat bath algorithm. The ground state phase diagrams of the system at zero temperature are obtained on the ( D B ∕ J , D A ∕ J ) plane. The phase diagrams are obtained in the plane of critical temperature versus random crystal-field, showing a variety of multicritical points such as a critical end point and a tricritical point at which the phase transitions change from second to first order.
