Undersökning och jämförelse av DDoS-Filter

Every year businesses and individuals are exposed by Denial Of Service attacks with the intention of putting servers into disuse and make services unusable. We have investigated three different ways to protect a server and the internal network against Denial Of Service attacks in the most efficient manner. This study measure the CPU usage and response time before and during a DoS-attack to get an overview of how charged each unit is during an attack to compare each DoS-protection.The survey showed that the Cisco ASA Firewall protects the server and the internal network in the most efficient way because the device uses a deep packet filtering and inspection which involves a more advanced technology that is used to filter out inappropriate data-traffic
