Background: In order to diminish morbidities associated with poor oral health in the pediatric patient population, pediatricians must be knowledgeable about preventive oral health (POH). Without a satisfactory knowledge of POH, pediatric residents (PR) cannot incorporate preventive interventions into their practices and effectively address pediatric oral health needs.
