Arthroscopic-Assisted Treatment of Pediatric Elbow Fractures

The application of arthroscopic techniques for the treatment of pediatric elbow conditions is in the nascent stages. However, early reports attest to its efficacy and safety, when properly performed. In addition to the usual advantages of minimally invasive techniques including improved visualization with less ancillary trauma, arthroscopic treatments are more easily accepted by parents and children and may also allow, in rare circumstances, a staged procedure.
