Implementation of FPGP-PID for Dynamic Speed Control of Three Phase Induction Motor Based on IFOC

2019
The speed control of induction motor (IM) continued to be developed, especially on electric drive systems. PID control is very popular and is widely used because of its simple structure and robustness. However, those controls will be disrupted when parameters change occurs in the case of dynamic speed. This paper proposed the simplified control strategy using Fuzzy Prediction Gain Proportional (FPGP) of PID control. It has better performance results when it is implemented for IFOC modeling system for the dynamic induction motor of speed control. The rule and prediction of fuzzy logic are used to arrange the scheduling system or to determine the gain value when there is a modification of parameter systems so that the optimal result is obtained. The experimental result of FPGP-PID and PID-ZN systems are compared in terms of transient condition when dynamic speed involve (settling time, overshoot and, undershoot). The output response using proposed method optimation can minimize overshoot to 12% and undershoot to 80%.
