Evaluación geomorfológica de los depósitos aluviales de las cuevas de Iritegui y Artzen Koba (Valle del río Aranzazu, Oñati. Guipúzcoa)

SUMMARY In this paper is attemtep to investigate an area in the upper basin of the Aranzazu river (Onati-Guipuzcoa) from a geomorphological poin of view, with two clear objetives: To confirm or exclude the existence of vestiges of periglacial cold processes inside a Iritegi cave. To make a paleo geographical reconstruccion of the area and the morphogenetic processes ocurred in the zone during the superior Quaternary. Both objetives have been performed, with reserve in the second case owing to the absence of absolute chronological datations in the area. We have been attempted also to introduce a original relative chronological datation method, based in the alteration displayed by the detritical large fraction (stones) of sandstone lithology.
