Tactile sensation control information generation device

2010
Provided is a tactile sensation control information generation device which achieves GUI operation that is intuitive and easy to use on a touch panel. An input processing unit acquires input information from a touch panel display, notifies the acquired input information to a drawing processing unit, and also instructs the drawing processing unit to draw a GUI element. An operation target extraction unit determines the GUI element that is the operation target of the user, said determination being made from the input information acquired by the input processing unit and GUI element attribute values which are managed by a GUI attribute management unit. A control information generation unit acquires from the GUI attribute management unit the attribute values of the GUI element determined as being the operation target by the operation target extraction unit. The control information generation unit then generates, from the acquired GUI element attribute values and the input information acquired by an input acquisition unit, control information which instructs a tactile sensation reproduction device to reproduce a tactile sensation in the part of the user's body which operates the touch panel display, when said part of the user's body touches the GUI element displayed on the touch panel display.
