20-Ton Wheeled Air Cushion Lighter Conceptual Design.

Abstract : The objectives of this project was to perform the concept formulation of a new U.S. Army Lighter of 20-long ton capacity which could transport a MILVAN container and palletized cargo from container ships stationed offshore to shore and inland with a minimum smooth water speed of 15 knots. The design aimed at high reliability and maximum use of commercially available components. (Author)
