Extension de la méthode de Cholesky pour la synthèse d'un signal 2-D à incréments autosimilaires 1

In the road profile synthesis framework, this article presents an extension of a monodimensional synthesis method in order to generate a 2-D self-similar landscapes. The purpose is to obtain a surface which the fractal dimension is an isotropic feature along all dimensions. The method to generate this surface is based on the Cholesky factorisation. Moreover, we show the relation between matrices obtained after the factorisation according the longitudinal and transversal profile.
