TAMPA DOWNTOWN PARTNERSHIP TO HOLD 3 RD ANNUAL DOWNTOWN TAMPA VISION & ACTION PLAN COMMUNITY FORUM

WHAT: The Tampa Downtown Partnership will hold a community forum regarding the Downtown Tampa Vision & Action Plan. Now in its third year, the Downtown Tampa Vision & Action Plan was completed in 2005 to offer an economic action plan for Tampa’s urban core. Each year, the Partnership holds a community forum to discuss the plan and review its recommendations and objectives. The community forum is an opportunity for the community to have the ability to make suggestions as to new focuses that the Partnership and the City of Tampa can be directing its resources and attention to over the next 12 months as it relates to the Downtown Tampa Vision & Action Plan. WHO: This event is open to anyone who holds an interest in the future development of downtown Tampa. Professionals who work in architecture, economic development, real estate, financing, urban planning, elected officials, museum directors, educational professionals, business owners, and property owners are among some of the people who should attend this event. Downtown residents are also strongly encouraged to attend this event. WHEN: The Downtown Tampa Vision & Action Plan Community Forum will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2008; 5:00 p.m. - Reception; 5:30-7:00 p.m. ‐ Community Forum. Reservations are not required. This is a free event.
