Infrarot-Schnellbrandofen für Quarzglas bis 900°C

Economic fluctuations and the special needs of many operators often place a question mark over the use of continuously operated furnaces. This article reports on a Nabertherm pusher-type furnace developed on the basis of cooperation with Quarzschmelze Ilmenau (Ilmenau Quartz Refining) which is used for thermal treatment up to 900°C of voluminous components and illustrates new aspects for the utilization of high-speed, infrared-heated furnaces.
