Combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment of Respiratory Distress Syndrome after Thoracic Surgery Clinical Observation

Objective: To explore the more effective treatments for respiratory distress syndrome after thoracic surgery through observing 80 cases.Methods: In our hospital from June 1996 to August 2012,80 cases of Department of thoracic surgery postoperative respiratory distress syndrome patients were treated according to a randomized grouping principles and were divided into treatment group and control group,40 cases in each group.The control group used respiratory support,nutritional support,anti-infection,anti-shock,conventional treatment,the treatment group was treated with combination of TCM and Western medicine therapy,namely in the routine treatment of Western medicine,added Jiawei Shengmai Powder.Two groups were observed in patients with therapeutic effect.Results: The treatment group effective rate was 95%,the control group efficiency was 65%,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Conclusion: Combination of Chinese and Western medicine of thoracic surgery postoperative respiratory distress syndrome has a certain advantage,and it is worthy of clinical application.
