APPLICATION OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL LASER SCANNING TECHNOLOGY IN COASTLINE SURVEYING

Three-dimensional laser scanning technology for coastline surveying is studied in this paper.The application of this technology can solve the problems in areas where coastlines are difficult for people to distinguish or reach in traditional coastline surveying,therefore greatly improve accuracy and integrity of coastline surveying and mapping.In this paper,three-dimensional laser point cloud data are collected to build a high-precision digital elevation model and extract the coastline.The precision of the coastline model can meet the requirements in practical work.The operational efficiency and measurement accuracy are also improved Three-dimensional laser scanning technology can be applied to coastline surveying and mapping with broad prospects.
