A control device of a U-shaped arm X-ray machine comprises a first control unit and a second control unit, wherein the first control unit is connected with a display unit and a second motor control unit respectively; the second motor control unit controls the detector of the X-ray machine to move in the horizontal direction; the second control unit is connected with the first control unit, a first motor control unit and a third motor control unit; the first motor control unit controls the detector of the X-ray machine to move in the vertical direction; and the third motor control unit controls the detector of the X-ray machine to rotate. The control device provided by the invention adopts the two control unit to control the motor control units respectively; the first control unit is connected with the display unit so that an operator can see the operating state of equipment clearly at a glance to reduce personal errors; and through the adoption of the two control unit, the control device can avoid the circumstance that the equipment fails when a single control platform goes wrong, thereby guaranteeing the reliability and safety of the equipment.
