The invention discloses an urban traffic fuzzy coordination control system based on a Zigbee and a computer. The urban traffic fuzzy coordination control system based on the Zigbee and the computer is composed of a central monitoring center, multiple sub-region monitoring centers and multiple signal monitors. Each sub-region monitoring center comprises a wireless relay and a sub-region monitor. Each signal monitor comprises a Zigbee communication module, a vehicle information collector, a microprocessor and a traffic light. The urban traffic fuzzy coordination control system based on the Zigbee and the computer has the advantages of being simple in structure, wide in coverage, low in cost, user-friendly and the like; besides, the system is high in urban traffic signal coordination control ability, high in adaptability to random traffic flow and capable of coordinating and controlling urban road network traffic in real time, shortening average vehicle delay time to a larger extent, achieving clog-free traffic, reducing automobile exhaust emission and realizing environment-friendly, energy-saving and economical traffic.
