Design of QCM frequency acquisition module for the detection of RNA viruses
2021
Among the human pathogenic viruses, the known viruses belong to 73 families, including DNA, RNA, satellite and spore. However, most RNA viruses are highly infectious. At present, the main detection methods of the RNA viruses are electron microscopy, immunology and fluorescent PCR. Nevertheless, these methods still have some shortcomings. Among them, the sensitivity of electron microscopy is low and the visual interference is serious; immunological methods are complicated and require low temperature antigen and antibody and professional operators; the fluorescent PCR method will be interfered by a large number of PCR inhibitors in the sample, resulting in low amplification efficiency. Therefore, on the basis of studying the shortcomings of other methods, this paper proposes a frequency acquisition system based on the Quartz crystal microbalance(QCM), through QCM mass effect real-time conduction of biological signals, provide real-time monitoring of the detection process. The system provides a high precision and fast detection scheme for the detection of the RNA viruses, which will effectively makes up for the shortcomings of the existing nucleic acid detection methods and can be used for early screening of epidemic situation, further provide effective technical means for epidemic prevention, control and long-term public health management in China.
