Selection of data structure for analytical processing optimization

For several years, the analysts have admitted, that demand for the computing power of analytic applications grows exponentially. For this reason, the new technologies of resource usage are still looking for. The result of these quests are the column-based processing and the in-memory database solutions which are suggested through more and more companies. In order to verify the opinion, the new approach gives more efficient results than classic, a series of tests were executed and the results was summarized in this article.
