Electrochromatographic separation of low molecular weight Elson-Morgan and ninhydrin-positive substances obtained by gel filtration of urine

Abstract In the preparation of low molecular weight substances obtained by gel fitration of normal human urine practically all Elson-Morgan and ninhydrin-positive material was found in one fraction of the filtrate. By two-dimensional paper electrochromatography, 18 Elson-Morgan and 28 ninhydrin-positive spots were found in material from this fraction.
