Patterns Versus Details: Nomothetic Versus Idiographic Approaches to Studying Ego-Networks and Environmental Activism

I have been influenced by Professor Schneider in a number of ways. He is, of course, one of the pioneers of the policy network perspective (e. g., Schneider 1992; Kenis and Schneider 1991; Schneider, Dang-Nguyen and Werle 1994; Leifeld and Schneider 2012), and I have been influenced by his writings in this area.
