Y-chromosomal SNPs and its application in forensic science

Y-SNPs,combining with the male specificity of the Y chromosome and low mutation rate of SNPs,drawing more forensic specialists' attention than ever.This report mainly describes characters of Y-SNPs,nomenclature of the haplogroup and its potential applications to the forensic medicine.
