In the current issue of “Innovations”, we present the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension using pulmonary artery denervation. We highlight the new version of the device for closing the left atrial appendage in patients with atrial fibrillation. Additionally in the topic of atrial fibrillation we introduce trial in which leaks after left atrial appendage closure were treated with coils. We also present the results of intracoronary infusion of allogeneic cardiosphere-derived cells in patients with heart failure and reduced ejection fraction. In terms of coronary intervention we present results of trial evaluating efficacy or ridaforolimus eluting stents and results of ANGIOLITE trial in which PCI procedures were performed with durable fluoroacrylate polymer-based sirolimus-eluting stent.
