Introduction
Borderline tumours of the ovary are epithelial tumours with a
low rate of growth and a low potential to invade or metastasise.
The concept of borderline tumours of the ovary has been
controversial for over a century while currently the borderline
category is included in the modern classifications of ovarian
tumours. This has been to some extent fuelled by the
difference between morphology and clinical behaviour. These
