ANALISIS RASIO ELEMEN PENAMPANG PADA STRUKTUR RANGKA BAJA TIPE DIAGONAL BRACED CBF

An example of an earthquake-resistant building uses an eccentrically braced frame (EBF) reinforcement system. the advantage of this system is that it can correct the shortcomings of two conventional frames, namely the moment-resisting frame and concentric retaining frame. In this study, a 10-storey was examined using ETABS 18, with time history analysis method. There are two modellings, the first model use profile 400x400 for columns 1st – 5th story, profile 350x350 for columns 6th – 10th story, profile 350x175 for beams all storey, and the second is to modify the whole profile optimum from the first model were not able from the earthquake load. The purpose of the research is to analyze the response of structures to identify the speed, acceleration, and displacement of the structure EBF is currently receiving load of the earthquake as well as determine the profile which resulted in the optimum stiffener system EBF. The results of the analysis are in the form of graphs of displacement versus time, velocity versus time, and acceleration versus time. The profile which resulted in the performance optimum is W10x29 in model 2 were reduce the deviation of the story the x amounted to 12.327% and the y-direction 34.955%, lowering the story drift x-direction by 5.345% and the y-direction 32.083%, and reduce the story drift ratio x-direction of 5.29% and the y-direction of 32.0625% in the first model.
