HPLC Fingerprints of Folium Citri Reticulatae

2011
Objective To establish a HPLC fingerprint analysis method for Folium Citri Reticulatae collected from different habitats. Methods HPLC-DAD method was performed on a HITACHI LaChrom C18 column(250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm)with methanol-0.4 % phosphoric acid as mobile phase by gradient elution. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,column temperature was 23 ℃,the detection wavelength was at 285 nm,and fingerprinting time lasted 90 min.The computer-assisted software for evaluating the fingerprint similarity was used to process the experimental data and compare the similarity of HPLC fingerprints of Folium Citri Reticulatae from different habitats. Results Certain differences existed in HPLC fingerprints of 10 batches of Folium Citrus Reticulatae, and 18 common peaks were found in the HPLC fingerprints. Conclusion The established method is stable and reproducible, which can be used for identification of the internal quality, and the results will provide the reference for the quality control of Folium Citri Reticulatae.
