An electrolyte storage tank for a redox flow cell is a hollow container. A positive pole and negative pole partition plate is vertically arranged in the electrolyte storage tank to divide the storage tank into a positive pole cavity and a negative pole cavity which are not communicated with each other, areas of cross sections of the positive pole cavity and the negative pole cavity along the random horizontal plane are equal, and the partition plate is provided with a through hole. The flow cell can always keep the temperatures of both positive pole electrolyte solution and negative pole electrolyte solution basically consistent in the running process, the influence on cell reaction caused by temperature difference of the positive pole electrolyte solution and the negative pole electrolyte solution is reduced, and the cell reaction has synchronism.
