A utilização de aplicativo para troca de mensagens como ferramenta para o gerenciamento de Enfermagem

Objective: To characterize the use of an application for the exchange of messages by the Nurses of a General Hospital of Recife-PE. Methodology: A cross-sectional, descriptive study with a quantitative approach performed at a general hospital in Recife, Brazil, consisting of 21 Nurses. A questionnaire was sent through the Google Docs program with questions about the professional profile and questions related to the use of an application to exchange messages about nursing management. The simple frequency distribution was applied for data analysis. Results: Twenty-one questionnaires completed by the participants were evaluated. The majority of the individuals were female (95.2%), aged 41 -45 years (38.1%), had a specialist degree (76.2%), trained for more than 10 years (81% ), 52.4% use the application for Nursing training, 52.4% for risk management, 47.6% for human resources management in Nursing, 47.6% for management of material resources in the service and 52.4% % for scientific research in Nursing. Conclusion: Most nurses use the application for communication, management, training planning in the area of Nursing and risk management and patient safety.
