Internationalization of Universities and Cities——A Case study of Chengdu,a City in West China

This article investigates the current situation of the development of internationalization of Chengdu City and the universities located there.It is found that the internationalization of cities and universities is inseparably correlated.University internationalization will expand the influence of the city,provide talents with global view,facilitate the innovation,optimize the model for the development of the city,and promote the development of cultural sector.At the same time,city internationalization provides platform,infrastructure,financial support and international opportunities to the universities.
