Rexi(literally means hot plays) is a major way of performance in the secular music of the Tang Dynasty.It is a type of contests in drama performances,and can be categorized as such two kinds as match competition of athletic skills and artistic performances with stories.The latter one becomes dominant in drama performances of Tang Dynasty,which influences the whole aesthetic orientation of traditional operas.
