2016
The master thesis deals with the evaluation of patients’ walk after the lower limb amputation after medical rehabilitation. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of rehabilitation on walking speed, mobility and endurance while patients’ walk after the amputation of the lower limbs through a 10-Meter Walk Test, Timed Up and Go Test and 6-Minute Walk Test. The test group consisted of 11 patients with unilateral lower limb amputation. Evaluation was undertaken in the beginning of the rehabilitation after mastering the walk with two underarm crutches and after rehabilitation. The impact of the integrated rehabilitation led to a significant improvement in the performance of the entire group of patients after amputation of the lower extremities. Improving mobility and walking speed in the output measurements were also observed, but without statistical significance.
