Device for increasing light modulation amplitude of SFP light module and application method of device

The invention discloses a device for increasing the light modulation amplitude of an SFP light module. The device comprises a boosting device, wherein the boosting device is arranged between a VCCT power supply interface of an emitting end of the SFP light module and a driving circuit of a laser and is used for increasing drive current of the laser so as to increase the light modulation amplitude of SFP light module. According to the device, the driving circuit of the laser is improved to supply relatively large drive current, so that the laser can provide relatively large light modulation amplitude and can support that light signals can be transmitted to a relatively far distance. The invention further provides an application method. The application method shows that the increase of the drive current of the laser is the only method for increasing the light modulation amplitude when the emitting efficiency of the laser is known.
